ABOUT ME 🍎

Welcome to Kindergarten!!! I am excited to get to know you and your child for the 2024-2025 school year. My name is Amy Mortman and I am your child's teacher this year.

I was born and raised here in South Florida. I attended all Broward County Schools, and it is a pleasure to bring all of my wonderful school experiences to teach your child. Kindergarten is so important because it is the start of your school journey. I am here to guide your on this journey; so that you have a lifelong love of learning.

This is my 19th year at Sandpiper Elementary. I have taught third grade for 5 years, second grade for 1 year, I spent 8 years in first grade, and am excited to start my fifth year Kindergarten. We are going to have a great year!!!
